stage

Fort
Lauderdale's
Parker
Playhouse
this
Friday,
July
25.
Menzel,
who
first
gained
fame
for
her
roles
in
"Rent"
the
musical
and
movie,
and
more
recently
as
Elphaba,
the
Wicked
Witch
of
the
West,
in
"Wicked,"
won't
be
wearing
green
this
time.
The
talented
musician
will
be
performing
songs
from
her
new
CD,
"I
Stand."
Produced
by
veteran
pop
producer
Glen
Ballard,
the
songs,
all
written
by
Menzel,
pay
homage
to
her
Broadway
roots
while
venturing
into
the
pop
and
Latin
realms.
Menzel
