THE Q What advice would you offer gay (or GLBT) kids in school today?
By POMPANO BILL Thursday, March 27, 2008
Things are a little different today, but I would still instill wisdom with caution. Select friends carefully. Not everyone is gay-friendly. Andre Azerot, "Old Enough" Self employed Fort Lauderdale Don't hide who you are. Be true to yourself. By letting other kids know you are gay will give them the self confidence to be who they are. Brad Holley, 38 Retail management Wilton Manors Just be yourself. Jack Jenkins, 45 District manager Norfolk, Va. I would suggest that they find someone to talk to. Try not to hide or be embarrassed. Share with others who you really are. Trudy Royce Lang, 59 Artist/teacher Grand Rapids, Mich. Accept and be happy with yourself. Be honest and treat each day as a new adventure. Craig Kline, 40 Manager of Tropics restaurant Wilton Manors
