FRIDAY, JANUARY 13
BOY’S NIGHT OUT: The film “The Everlasting Secret Family” will be screened at the Stonewall Library. This bizarre and brilliant film takes viewers into the world of sex and politics. A younger man begins to strain at his “plaything” status imposed by a popular and powerful politician. The Stonewall Library is located at 1717 N. Andrews Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. The screening will start at 7 p.m. and there is a $2 suggested donation.

‘2.5 MILE RIDE’: This touching play by Lisa Kron follows a lesbian character exploring her family history. Lesbian director Gail Garrisan helms the heartwarming comedy. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays until Jan. 29 at the American Heritage Center for the Arts, 12200 West Broward Blvd. in Plantation. MIAMI NATIONAL ANTIQUES SHOW: More than 400 international antiques dealers will convene in South Florida to exhibit at the first major antiques show of the winter 2006 season. Hours are Friday, noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday, noon to 8 p.m.; and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 on Friday, and $10 over the weekend. SATURDAY, JANUARY 14
A NIGHT AT THE RAMROD: The gay adult film “Night at the Ramrod,” produced entirely with a South Florida cast and crew, will be unveiled to local audiences on Saturday the 14th, 10 p.m. to midnight at the Ramrod. The Fort Lauderdale leather bar is located at 1508 NE 4th Ave. Performers will be on hand to greet the public and autograph copies of the newly-released picture.


SUNDAY, JANUARY 15
BRIAN MCNAUGHT SEMINAR: The nationally acclaimed “godfather of gay diversity training,” Brian McNaught, will lead an evening of discussion about gay issues at the Second Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and is free to the public. The church is located at 1400 N. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. For more information call Allan Fulton at 954-522-1994.


MONDAY, JANUARY 16
MISS NOCHE LATINA PAGEANT: On Monday, Jan. 16, the Miss Noche Latina Pageant will be held at Voodoo Lounge. General Admission is $10 before Jan. 16 and $15 the day of pageant. Doors open at 9 p.m. and pageant starts at 10 p.m. Table seats are $20 and are on a first come first serve basis. Voodoo Lounge is located at 111 SW 2nd Ave. in Fort Lauderdale.
