Her
Madge-esty
was
so
sick
with
stomach
flu
that
her
doctors
advised
her
to
cancel
the
second
day
of
her
“Re-Invention”
tour,
which
kicked
off
in
Los
Angeles
on
May
24.
The
Material
Girl
cancelled
the
May
25
show
in
L.A.
because
of
the
illness
but
honored
all
tickets
the
next
day,
the
Associated
Press
reports.
Fans
in
Israel
weren’t
so
lucky.
Madonna
has
called
off
plans
to
perform
in
Israel
on
the
tour.
Several
news
outlets
reported
that
it
was
because
of
death
threats
aimed
at
the
singer
and
her
children,
Lourdes,
7,
and
Rocco,
3.
“She
thought
she
was
being
targeted
because
of
her
Jewish
Kabbalah
religion,”
the
London
Sun
reported
about
the
cancellations.
The
newspaper
also
claimed
that
Madonna
“freaked
out”
after
getting
“scary”
letters
from
a
Palestinian
group.
But
that’s
just
not
true,
her
handlers
say.
“She
never
received
threats,”
Madonna’s
rep,
Liz
Rosenberg,
told
New
York
Daily
News
columnists
Rush
&
Molloy.
Rosenberg
said
Madonna
had
considered
playing
Tel
Aviv
months
ago,
but
never
committed
to
any
dates.
The
singer/celebrity
cancelled
the
plans
after
her
security
team
advised
her
that
recent
violence
in
the
area
made
it
unsafe.
Fans
in
Israel
and
in
the
United
States
who
can’t
afford
the
$100-plus
tickets
to
the
show
might
be
able
to
catch
Madonna
on
CBS.
The
network
recently
announced
plans
to
air
a
two-hour
concert
special
featuring
Madonna
on
the
new
tour.
No
broadcast
date
has
been
set
yet,
but
gossip
columnists
Rush
&
Molloy
say
Madonna
will
get
$10
million
for
the
special.
CBS
wouldn’t
confirm
that
figure.
If
seeing
the
show
on
TV
isn’t
good
enough,
Dish
has
learned
that
D.C.
,
daddy
of
,
the
semi-annual
“all
Madonna
all
night”
dance
party
that
is
always
one
of
gay
D.C.’s
hottest
club
nights,
has
some
special
tickets.
For
the
new
tour,
there
is
a
pit
in
the
stage
with
seating
for
about
20
rabid
Madonna
fans.
Bailey
has
acquired
some
of
the
pit
tickets
for
the
D.C.
concerts
on
June
13
and
14
to
give
away
at
Madonnarama,
which
is
being
held
at
VelvetNation
on
Saturday,
June
5.
Bailey
told
Dish
that
he
didn’t
know
how
he
was
going
to
give
away
the
tickets,
but
there
would
be
some
kind
of
contest.
He
promised
Dish
it
would
be
something
totally
outrageous.
It
appears
that
gay
Village
Voice
gossip
columnist
reads
the
Washington
Blade.
“The
Washington
Blade’s
[managing
editor]
just
wrote
an
editorial
saying
that
on
a
recent
visit
to
a
New
York
gay
bar,
one
of
the
[Fox
News
Channel’s]
anchors
got
a
wee
bit
tipsy
and
hit
on
him,”
Musto
wrote
in
his
column
last
week.
Naff’s
editorial
never
named
the
anchor,
but
Musto
apparently
has
some
inside
scoop.
“Spies
tell
me
the
guy
in
question
is
the
one
who
said
‘blowjob’
on
the
air
and
was
recently
linked
to
,”
Musto
wrote.
With
all
these
clues,
this
story
has
gone
from
a
blind
item
to
a
“little-bit-blurry”
item.
Dish,
who
is
no
stranger
to
being
hit
on
by
closeted
newsmen,
has
figured
it
out.
Can
you?
As
if
the
endless
reruns
on
Lifetime
weren’t
enough,
many
gay
fans
will
be
overjoyed
that
the
,
portrayed
by
,
,
and
,
are
finally
coming
to
DVD.
Web
site
TvshowsonDVD.com
reports
that
it
is
very
likely
that
the
series’
first
season,
which
aired
from
1985-86,
will
be
available
on
DVD
this
November
30.
Now
Dish
knows
what
to
get
her
favorite
TV-loving
queens
this
Christmas.
